The monastic refectory is one of the largest rooms in the Abbey, with a vaulted ceiling and walls completely decorated with frescoes.
The frescoes from 1670 are the work of Fra Paolo Novelli and depict events from the Old and New Testaments.

The back wall is enriched by the large canvas depicting the Last Supper, created by the painter Lino Dinetto and placed over a previous fresco that had deteriorated greatly in 1948. The room is equipped with heavy cypress tables on which the monks eat their meals every day.

The "yellow Siena" marble sink located in the atrium in front of the refectory is beautiful and unique.

The meal of the friars, in this place, is consumed in silence, accompanied by the reading of sacred texts carried out in turn among the monks
