The church, in its current form due to a Renaissance expansion of a 12th-century building, features an interesting red brick bell gable on the outside.
Inside are:
a fresco by an anonymous Sienese painter from the first half of the 16th century, "Madonna Enthroned with Child between Saints Mary Magdalene and Catherine of Siena";
an oil painting on panel by an anonymous Sienese painter from the early 16th century depicting Saint Jerome in Meditation;
an oil painting on panel by Francesco Rustici, known as Rustichino (Siena, 1592-1626), depicting the Madonna and Child, the Infant Saint John the Baptist, and Saints Catherine, Bernardino, and Francis;
an oil painting on canvas by an anonymous Lombard painter from the first half of the 17th century, entitled "Ecstasy of Saint Francis";
an oil painting on canvas by an anonymous Sienese painter from the first half of the 17th century, entitled "S. Eutropia de Rhemis in Gallia Virgo et Martyr";
an oil on canvas painting by Lorenzo Feliciati (Siena, 1732-1799) called Madonna and Child.
